1. Who we are
Himalayan Silicon Valley Pte. Ltd. ("HSV", "we", "us") operates this website and the annotation workforce platform behind it from Kathmandu, Nepal. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have over it.
2. What we collect
When you browse the public site we do not require any personal data. When you apply to join the workforce, we collect the details you enter in the registration wizard: full name, email address, phone number, date of birth, country of residence, national ID (optional), work equipment details, and — if you choose to add them — bank, mobile-wallet or international payment details. When you contact us through the partner-inquiry form, we collect your name, organisation, email and message.
3. How we use it
We use personal data to create and manage your account, verify your identity and work eligibility (KYC), assess your application, pay you for completed work, respond to enquiries, and comply with legal and regulatory obligations in Nepal and the jurisdictions we serve.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Payment details are shared only with the banks, wallets or payment processors needed to pay you, and are visible only to HSV administrators — never to project clients or team leads. Identity data may be shared with regulators or law enforcement where we are legally required to do so.
5. How long we keep it
We keep account and KYC records for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards to satisfy audit, tax and anti-money-laundering requirements. Contact and inquiry messages are retained for as long as needed to respond and to prevent abuse of the contact channels.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by writing to connect@himalayansiliconvalley.com. Where the law gives you stronger rights (for example in the EU, UK or Switzerland), we honour those rights for all users, not only where required.
7. Security
All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, authentication uses secure tokens, and payment and identity data is stored separately from profile data with access limited to administrators. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our platform is for working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we will delete any such data brought to our attention.
